There’s only one way to settle this

Rock, Paper, Scissors or Scissors, Paper, Rock or which ever way you choose to say it. I was sitting in my car today and started thinking about this game and its rules for what beats what. Say you have two guy in a dark alley…some dialogue is exchanged maybe a racial slur or two assuming at least one is a minority…one guy whips at a rock to beat the other guy with and in reply the other man says “i’ll do you one better” and whips out a pair of scissors. This fight could possibly be anyones really, but the scissors winning is still a very possible outcome with the stabbing and the bleeding and such…although in this game rock always wins. Now rewind. Same scenario…guy says “that’s it scumbag the jig is up” pulls out his good old rock “now your in for a beating”. In reply guy number two now says ” oh ho your in so much trouble i have my super secret weapon…now i shall own your face with PAPER!”. Now in my opinion, may not be a fact but i’ll argue it, 100% of the time the guy with the rock will most likely laugh and then proceed to Bonk! the man whos last line of defense was a piece of paper with a rock to the face. So how does paper beat rock. I just don’t see it. In the game whenever paper beats rock people will do this hand gesture like the paper wraps around the rock or covers it, but does that really defeat the rock? If guy two were to use his paper and quickly cover guy one’s rock would guy one still not continue to Bonk! guy two with a paper covered rock to the face. I just don’t understand. Go ol’ rock. Paper you suck.
Bonk!
